 External qualification

Recruitment will be done externally

1).  BSc Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

OR

2).  An associate member of the Charted Institute of Engineers.

External qualification

1). Higher National Diploma in Accountancy OR Intermediate level qualification of the institute of charted Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) OR Intermediate level qualification of charted Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) OR Intermediate Level qualification of Association Certified and Corporate Accountants (ACCA) OR Degree in Management or Commerce.

AND

2).  At least three (3) years post qualifying experience in accounting and finance in managerial capacity in a Government Department / Corporation/Board or a reputed Mercantile Establishment.

Internal qualification

1).  Being an employee with minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a post in Junior Manager Category Grade I in the field of Accounts.

 External qualification

1).  A degree obtained in a disciplines relevant to the position, recognized by the University Grants Commission.

AND

2).  At least one year of post qualifying experience in the subject area relevant to the position.

OR

1).  5 years’ Experience in a position in the relevant field in the Junior Manager (JM) service category.

External qualification

1). A Degree of a recognized university with 2 years’ experience in Office Administration or Management in a public /Statutory Board.

 Internal qualification

1). 5 years’ experience in class II of Administrative Assistant service.

OR

1). 5 years’ experience in class I of Management Assistant service.

 External qualification

1).    A Degree in a recognized University in Library Science and 2 years’ experience in a library of a Higher Education Institute.

OR

2).  A Diploma in Library Science and 8 years’ experience in a Library of a Higher Education Institute.

Internal qualification

1).  Diploma in Library Science with 5 Years’ experience as Library Assistant in MA 3 grade 1 at SLIATE.

 External qualification

2).  A Diploma in Library Science and 3 years working experience in library of a Higher Education Institute.

(a).  Should have passed in the GCE O/L Examination in 06 subjects in not more than two sittings with credit Passes to

1. Sinhala/Tamil/English Language 2.Mathematices

And

3.Two other subjects

(b).   Should have passed all the subjects (except general paper) at GCE A/L However, it is sufficient to pass in 03 subjects at one sitting under old syllabus.

And

(c).     Should have successfully completed a study course in Information Technology /Typist/Stenography.

1). Employees in the SLIATE Service who have satisfied (a) and (c) of above external qualification and completed 05 years’ service in minor grades.

(a).  Educational Qualifications

Should have passed in the GCE O/L Examination in 6 subjects in not more than two sittings with 2 credit passes

(b).  Vocational Qualifications

Driving License issued by Department of Motor Traffic

AND

(c).  2 Years’ experience in the relevant field. In Case of driver one must possess Heavy Duty driving license with two years driving experience.
